Kent - He was there in '56-'57, I believe. He occasionally sells Philmont memorabilia and other BSA stuff on eBay.
He has some great Kodachromes of his time there. One of them shows a group of the guys out in the fields in an old blue pickup surrounded by the buffalo they have out there. He tells me they made the mistake of getting between a calf and her momma on that excursion. So, she decided to ram one of the trucks doors in! He had quite a few adventures out there.
