Thanks, Marnie.  I do like your crop, but for some reason (it just
looks better to me?) I like my crop a bit better.  I like that yours
gets rid of some of the worst distortion on the right side of the
frame (I already cropped from the left, leaving the 16mm "semi-fisheye
distortion on one side only, so it isn't balanced).  On my crop I like
that the man in the hat is off-centre and I like that there's one
extra gal chatting on the bench.  It's a close call, but like I said,
as much as I like your crop I do like mine a bit better.
