It'd be easier if I could figure out which bloody framelines I was supposed to be using, and if the M8 respected the framelines properly. With a 35mm lens on the body it brings up a pair of framelines which confuse the hell out of me, they're so similar. It's also optimised to be accurate at quite close focal distances, so if you're focussed some way away you get a lot more on the sensor than you framed for. I agree with your analysis overall though.
