Marnie, the original never did show up in my PDML folder.(?)
Really well composed shot.
I've been frustrated sooo many times in trying to capture an image I respect
while shooting in the Redwoods.
I need serious help, so this year I plan to go to the Redwoods during the
Rhododendron season. May happen to find them paired up together with some
decent lighting.

Good luck, Jack.

I'll be interested in seeing your results. :-)

I thought these were Pines, but I guess they could be Redwoods. Frankly, I
don't remember. I wasn't "officially" in a Redwood park of any kind, these
were just "trees along the road." But in an area that had Redwoods. Actually,
it
was a bit of a pain to drive it. Too many people, motorcycles and road
construction. I am going to google map it. HWY 199, from Grants Pass to
Crescent
City. Very pretty drive, but in June, too busy. On second look, hmmm, they
probably are Redwoods, the small, normal variety. Heh.

Maybe I should head north during spring too and try for Rhodendrons also.
But some much to shoot, such little time.

Later, Marnie :-)
