Can I join the "hate me" club? I got a free K 50/1.4 last year: I bought an ME with this lens on eBay advertised as a "fixer". The problem? The lens couldn't be removed from the body at all. I paid $65.00 for the combo, applied a drop of penetrating oil to the lens flange, waited an hour or so and then removed my beautiful working ME from my beautiful K 50/1.4. I replaced the slightly pitted lens flange on the camera with one from my junk bin (the mount on the lens itself was perfect, oddly enough) and slapped a 50/2.0 on the ME and sold it for about $80.00 as I recall. -- Mark Roberts www.robertstech.com - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
