Rig up a way to hold a telescope eyepiece, and you have a nice little 'scope for visual use. Nice grab- never figured that drinking and e-baying would work that well.

Drunken ebaying does have it's pleasures sometimes. I scored a perfect condition MTO 1100mm Mirror lens recently at a very good price (T2-M42 mount, yellow filter, Soviet leather case and all).

The thing is rather hefty. I wish it had a handle - need both hands. But the build quality is more than satisfactory.

And I'm glad to say that the K10D fits the lens without the flash protrusion interfering at all (just).

Now if only the skies would clear so I can get a few celestial shots done.
