I think I joined some time in 1997, when we were still hosted by Pentax USA. The earliest message I can find is dated May 1998. There were some interesting characters around then: Bruce R. always claimed that Nikon was better than Pentax in every way, and that Pentax could never make a DSLR Suda Mafud went crazy Brad Dobo was crazy Kirkland R. ?? pontificated and then went crazy The Who forgot to take his medication so often his emails were gibberish
