It's not bad, it's just not as good as NC. VC will often punch up the
redness in people's skin, NC almost always looks about perfect. VC looks
ok with flash, but if there's a light source with any color in it, it'll
accentuate it. 

OTOH, NC isn't good for much else, while VC serves an an excellent
all-around film...
