Hi Frank: They're all great, especially this one http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_EaTEtfR4WJw/SZwdR96u-5I/AAAAAAAAFT4/_eluzfsYPMM/s1600-h/sandy_02.jpg They do come up a little dark, but I imagine you'll get that sorted. Nice GESO. Cheers, Christine

Subject: GESO - My Funny Valentine

On Saturday night I headed out to see my buddy Tim the jazz trumpeter.
I last took pix of him with this band about a year ago, so some of
the faces may be a bit familiar to some of you. I mostly alternated
between three lenses: Tamron f2.5 90mm, Pentax f2.5 135mm and Vivitar
Series 1 f2.8 constant aperture 35-85 zoom - all manual focus, but it
was so dark in there autofocus was useless anyway. Oh yeah, the shot
of the whole band was with my Zenitar f2.8 16mm fisheye (semi-fisheye
on the *istD). All shots handheld at between 1/15th and 1/20th, hence
the softness to many of them.

I was concentrating on tight shots, because I need some of this band:

Please excuse the poor arrangement; Blogspot is such a pain to
organize multiple photos.

And yes, they did do My Funny Valentine...

;-)

Comments welcome.

cheers,
frank
