FWIW, I do not think the APS format DSLR has a very long term viability.
FF DSLR and the much smaller but similar performance to APS
micro 4/3 systems would make more sense to me. I dont see
the Pentax leap to 645D making sense, it would make more sense to
go FF before going 645.
If FF sensor prices continue to fall, at some point APS
will not be able to justify itself and will not be able
to keep up with FF peformance with real lenses.
Or maybe they'll go off in a completely new direction?
