Back in '85 a buddy and went on a roadtrip into BC and Alberta. One of the thing I packed was a large knife, almost a short sword, that was handy around the campsites. The border guards thought that two guys in their twenties out camping without an itinerary were suspiscious enough to warrant a search of the car. The guard found the knife (which was actually part of my SCA costuming to tie in with Keitha's Medieval Faire thread) and with a lot of *hint* *hint* dripping from his voice asked: "This is a machete? _right_?" -- Photographs are like sentences, the best ones have both subjects and verbs.
