I think that I'd like to purchase a hand-held meter sometime in the near

Also I believe in the past I've seen some that do not require batteries,
does such a thing exist?
I have a Gossen LunaSix around here somewhere that has been an excellent
lightmeter for me. It isn't fancy, and uses a galvanometer rather than a
digital readout, and it does use a battery (9volt, IIRC), but it is very
nice indeed.
