The stimulus money is only effective if it's kept within our economy :-)

I ain't seeing all that much stimulus outa' what's been passed.
What I understand, they're going to go for a reduction in tax
withholding to spread it out over the year, so people won't just use it
to pay bills and such. According to everything I read, I should get $400.
That's going to amount to between $15 - $20 per paycheck for me ... but
it ain't happened yet. Meanwhile, I'm already getting a $50 per paycheck
cut in pay from my employer.
So, when the stimulus finally kicks in, I'm only going to be seeing $30
- $35 less per paycheck instead of $50.
Assuming I still have a job.
I'm really inspired to go out right now and just burn a hole through my
credit cards.
Or maybe not.
