I like both. I really like two, and think it would have worked fine for an abstract. I guess you thought the street light wasn't abstract enough? It is an intriguing shot.

hard tellin with me, isn't it? a bit of both... I'm cranky and slothful... "might as well be spring" ... lalalal

re abstract... yeah a bit identifiable overall... I had serious focal problems at first with the truly abstract ones but also it was too much a kind to Doug Brewer's shot that is in the book - though his is a reflaction... I like his a lot .
