There was a period from mid-Jan to a couple days ago when my email to pdml was vanishing silently. I use gmail. It turns out that the "rich formatting" link is sticky, I'd turned it on once weeks ago to italicize something and it had stuck. When I turned off "rich formatting" I started getting through to pdml again. -T
