I've only read part way down the thread, but here's my take: Before my take, I'll just wonder if you're being tongue-in-cheek or serious with your "this can't be art" comment, Cotty. Now my take: I like several of the photos. I don't really care if it's art or not because I've always had a great deal of trouble knowing what's art and what isn't, and what it's come down to is that art is what I think it is, full stop. If that renders the concept of art meaningless, so be it.
