Richard, I don't think you're quite right about perspective control in LE. The effect is available under Image/Effects/Perspective, but only after you have selected part of the image - prior to making a selection the option is grayed out. Don't know about the inverting cursor, mine always seems to be a gray which I can pick out on screen most of the time. I have Version 5.5, BTW
