Depends. For a professional studio photographer it should be a good
option if:
- It has way higher dynamics like let's say Nikon D3x and a few more
megapixels. The recent FF cameras IMHO are really competitive to the MF
market.
- The price is competitive to a Mamiya+Digiback
- The lens prices/quality are competitive to similar Mamiya
But there is the Hasselblad H3D with price tag of 30K USD which is
similar to the P645D system and they sell some units too. Pentax could
own the digi MF market if they can sell the 645D for 10-15K USD IMHO and
meantime they could bring features and quality similar to HBH3Ds. So
even I won't buy one (I am not a professional photographer, nor do I
have 10K USD :D) I welcome the 645D and to be honest... I would sell my
soul to devil to have one :)
t
Miserere írta:
There seems to be this mythological aura about the 645D, and I read so
many people clamouring for it...and yet, I think Pentax is correct
when they say that they would not release it in the US because they
expect to only sell 200 units.
This thing isn't going to be cheap, but let's be really optimistic and
say they manage to bring it in at $10,000. How many of you would put
your money where your cursor is and buy it?
Cheers,
--M.
