On my old PII 266. Photoshop 6 takes about a minute to load, and is rather crash prone. It also runs really slowly, even with 384mb of ram. 5.5 loads in about 6 seconds, is not prone to crashing, and runs quickly. I did put 6.0 onto my newer rig, and it seems fine on it.
