Yep, my brother and I (The Nuts) thought about getting into so-called "shifter kart" racing a few years ago. That's a kart similar to those, but with a 125cc or 250cc motorcycle engine and five- or six-speed sequential gearbox. I test drove one, once. When I got to sixth gear it dawned on me that I was going over 100 mph, with my butt about a half inch from the ground .... and that wasn't really for me. I'm too big a wuss. :-)
