Very interesting.
I have both my original, well-thumbed 1969 soft cover edition of "The
Americans" and the 2008 hard cover edition printed by Steidl in
Germany. There are a few differences between them, but no proof
sheets, etc. This was/is a signal book for me. I return to it often.
It would be very interesting to read Sarah Greenough's book about "The
Americans" with so many years of having appreciated the book itself.
