Frantisek,
The optical performance of the 2.5 was not too far from the 3.5,
(which is not bad at all) but the one I had (the only one I've
seen around here - maybe it's still in the shop where I traded
it in) had a stiff focusing ring and a cap that was made to be
lost (in fact I lost it in a streetcar in Wien). Being not a
great improvement over the 3.5 (apart from its speed - I used it
wide open in a museum and had pleasant - soft - results) I
decided I could live without it and wait for a better
(Pentax...) performer.

BTW, I'd like to handle another one to check if mine was simply
a poor sample or the whole series is poor.
