Out of context I can't see it being so effective. I mean, it really has to have the whole navel-gazing, angels-dancing-on-the-head-of-a-pin, dear-me-what-does-art/truth/perception/intent/life-mean thread in front of it in order to feel the full impact, doesn't it? As a stand alone quote it's just another poorly-constructed vulgarity-laden piece of twaddle, isn't it? BTW, the "you know?" bit at the end was put there quite on purpose (to make it seem more like spoken - as opposed to written - words). I'd appreciate it if you leave it in, superfluous or not. OTOH, after what I said here, I'm sure you'll agree that it just won't fly in the 2009 quotes. I'm saving my good stuff for the end of the year anyway.
