Pentax cleaning kit consists of the stick with a super sticky foot,
with which you press on your sensor to capture dust, then press it to
some special paper supplied on a pad which removes said dust
particles. Repeat many time. Never remain in contact with the sensor
for too long, nor press too hard, for you may damage the IR glass cover.

I tried very hard to clean the sensor on my old K100 with this stick,
eventually sending it to Pentax for a cleaning. I still have the
camera, still in the plastic bag Pentax returned it in, should anyone
be interested in a newly CLA K100D for their kit.

The Visible Dust brush always worked well for me (when I had the K100D). I
felt it was about as safe a solution to sensor cleaning as anything could be.

Marnie aka Doe :-) (But I cannot be trusted with blowers or compressed air.
Forget anything liquid.)
