Good that you got on stage as well. Do you wear ear defenders or did you
lose your hearing edge years ago" ;-)  I wear swimming-style rubber
bungs like these:

when working on and around stages. It also means that i can literally
stand in front of the speaker stack to get some good side views. This
vicinity is usually clear of any sane beings to a radius of a few feet
affording good shooting, and can hear the music through my lungs :-) I
had one bad experience with shooting in an excessively loud situation
many years ago and have carried the ear protection ever since.
