A friend of mine is putting together a portfolio to show off her work. She has asked me to look at her work and give her feedback on what should and shouldn't go into the portfolio.
We were discussing the process of soliciting feedback and the fact that people who know more about photography, or visual art, tend to look for different things than those with "a less cultured palate (or palette). Since this list, judging by the pdml annual, has some of the highest concentration of kickass photographers I've run across, I suggested to her that I forward the link on to you folks. If you have some time to look through the gallery and comment to her, either via email, or comments on the shots on which are keepers and which ones to lose, that would be a wonderful favor. At the very least, you'll probably have fun looking through them, some of the shots are very eye catching.
