There is a movie talking about Spanish immigrants in Switzerland in the 1950's.
When they first arrived to the hostal where they were going to live for the
first moths, they went to the bathroom and discovered, with surprise, the
toilet paper.
After some exclamation about its softness, one of them said 'so, what do they
do here with newspapers?'
1) And, today, there is people here that complain and look despectively to
immigrants (and maybe thier parents or grand parents were one of them)
2) Very interesting article...the pleasure of a breakfast with a caffe au lait,
croissant, a newspaper and half an hour spare to read it is unmatchable, but
this is not enough to maintain the business I am afraid.
Regards from sunny Barcelona,
Jaume
