But I also think cutsey wootsey clothes for dogs are silly too. I don't see it as outright abuse. If a dog licks himself, he's not going to poison himself. Some people do think about the inherent dignity an animal has, so they might worry about that. I think they should be treated with respect, yes. It's just silly.
