I really only look at such a snap as simply a recording. I'm concerned
with something comfortable to view and so primarily concentrate on
composition.
Technical aspects of focus and tone comprise the balance of my effort in a
case such as this.
I love looking at, and being able to clearly see, the surface and
character details in such a scene.

get better light.
Outside of cropping out some foreground, I wouldn't
change a thing.
I also see more opportunities with just a walk around the
cabin or maybe a look inside if possible.
