I must agree with Godfrey here. When shooting with my Tamron 28-75/2.8
it is almost always either wide end or short end of the zoom range and
nothing in between.
In fact, (to give some kind of rationale to my suggestion earlier in
this thread) I tend to "pre-decide" what kind of pictures I would be
taking. Then I would choose a single lens and shoot with it. It is not
unknown for me to swap lenses midshoot but it is quite rare. But then
again, 21 + 43 + 77 are a very light and small bunch.
The situation where Ralf opened his car trunk and a couple of rucksacks
full of lenses therein is singular and does not count ;-).
