Nice, Toine! The soft stem line doesn't bother me. In fact, I think I kind of 
like the fill it provides which, also, helps to balance the weight of the 
blossom.
There are subjects wherein centering is absolutely deadly to a pleasing 
composition. In this case, maybe not exactly centered, but ever so slightly off 
to the right and down a smidge might be worth trying.
