Nice work in that gallery - so hard to shoot stage lit performers,
too.
Back in the 80's, I was a master of eyeballing exposures. I never
used the (match-needle) light meter for concert shots...
And I always shot slide film so that I would get the exposure I
wanted, not what the printer decided was "center-weighted-average" for
the frame.
Heck, I got the slides processed and returned as a strip and mounted
them myself, too - so that I can control of where the frames would be
cut. Man, I had that routine down!
