I once lived near Ida Noyes Hall, but that was almost forty years ago. Won't help you now:-). But stop by Medici while you're on the U of C campus.

Larry,
We are headed to Omaha from Friday to Monday of that weekend.
You're probably headed to the University of Chicago neighborhood.
Let me know about your plans and maybe we can met.

The events are at these locations:

There's no telling where I'll be staying. Dancers from all over an
area provide crash space at these events.

Here's a map of the five venues:

I'll probably get in on Thursday and leave Tuesday or Wednesday.

I'm excited. This'll be my first "too far to drive" out of town dance
event in several years. It'll also be my first time (at least in my
memory) going to Chicago. I hope to get there Thursday night and maybe
stay an extra day or two.

If you want to see me while I'm back there, offer me crash space
(local dancers generally provide housing during the event, but it may be handy to have some before/after), or let me know about "can't miss" events, that I should schedule around, or if you just want to be kept
up to date about my travel plans, drop me a note.

I expect to be pretty busy from Friday evening through about 6am
Monday morning (about the time the last dance of these weekends tends
to end), though I may have time for lunch or dinner near where the
classes/dances are.
