This is the core of the argument. Preferences and facts are different things. I'm not denying that the Z-1p gives more features for the money. Also do I except that some prefer it to the MZ-S. Apart from a slightly slower max shutterspeed and slower film transport, the fact is that the MZ-S has more features than the Z-1p, has a simpler interface, and is better built and finished. Where your preferences are is of course a different issue.
