The actual, honest-to-Tiwaz SD spec stops at 2GB. SDHC takes over and goes up to 32 GB; there's another spec coming that's in the terabytes but they have to sort out file systems first. There were some 4GB SD cards produced, but they used a variety of proprietary extensions to the spec and are nearly certain not to work in a compliant SD card device, and may very well not work in a compliant SDHC device, either. So I suspect you're not going to get those cards to work in anything but the specific device they were intended for, or (if they are actually SDHC cards) an SDHC device. -- Graydon -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
