Thanks Bob. Believe it or not, I was using a borrowed entry level camera that seriously restricted creative freedom. I can do a lot better than that. The subject of photographers intrigues me. To follow them around and see what makes them tick, to get inside their heads, to try and convey their thought processes and aspirations is something that I would like to try and grapple with in a documentary, or series of docs. I think it would make interesting viewing. I know it's al been done before, but this new aspect of a worldwide community gathering in forums such as email lists and chat rooms where pics can be shown around like prints at the camera club adds a new dimension - and producing a book from remote points of the globe without actually getting the bottom off the seat - again, pretty fascinating. I think it would appeal to a wider viewing public, certainly with international appeal. That's the basic gist of what I have in mind. I'm working on it but these things taking ridiculous amounts of time. If I had a spare 30 grand in the bank I'd take 6 months off and get going on it now... -- Cheers, Cotty ___/\__ || (O) | People, Places, Pastiche ||=====| http://www.cottysnaps.com _____________________________ -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
