G'day all I had a few days away with some friends last week - a bit of relaxing; some wine was drunk.
We stayed in one of the old keeper's cottages at Norah Head lighthouse. A great location with plenty of opportunity to go photographing. Here's one that I came across late on the last day. I know sunsets are cliché but this one was quite spectacular (I almost expected to see choirs of angels descending....) http://www.blognow.com.au/PESO/132346/Hurley039s_Sky.html And if anyone's wondering about the title.... The late Frank Hurley often used to add dramatic looking skies (just like this one) to his images to give them a bit more visual impact. It sometimes got him into trouble with purists and historians, but I'm sure he would have loved Photoshop if he'd been around to use it!
