On Sunday mornings the subway doesn't start until after 9:00 (they say to allow them extra maintenance time, but I think it's just a remnant from our puritan "Sunday is the Lord's Day" era). The bus running up and down Yonge Street (under which runs our busiest subway line) is packed on Sundays before 9:00, mostly by retail clerks heading to work. I think I took this photo at around 8:30 am. Most of them don't want to be there at the best of times, but working on Sunday must be a downer, and standing out there with the cold wind in your face probably doesn't help one's mood much.
