Okay, so I'm disappointed. It used to be that my program CDFinder
would catalog the captions and keywords in an iPhoto library. Turns
out that's not the case anymore.

But I finally got a chance to download Photoshop Elements 6 for the
Mac (whew, 1.5 gigs!), and I am impressed. I didn't know that Elements
came with Bridge now, that's great. And the RAW conversions look
excellent. There is as little noise at 3200 iso as the iPhoto
conversions, but the Elements images look slightly sharper (PS- Larry,
I'm basing my.noise evaluations with the NR features of these programs
at their default settings which is usually off).

And, of course, Elements saves captions and keywords into IPTC. Which
means that wire services can read them, and that CDFinder will catalog
them for me as well.

I guess I'll be ponying up some cash for elements in the near future.
