I found the same thing ... The green button metering is accurate wide
open and near that, but accuracy becomes increasingly off as the lens
stops down.
Several possible causes come to mind, but the unfortunate truth is
that I never found a way to solve it that didn't have less desireable
side effects.

Exposure seems to go off as you get to smaller f stops.
Now if the green button causes it to stop down and meter,
how can it be off? You just metered the shot at f12.8, or whatever.
The mechanism for this error is a mystery to me.
