My Dec PUG assignment: "Dusk Watch " by Christian Skofteland, USA: Nice silhouette and sky color. I like the way the bird on the right fits into the branch shape. The black area at the LLC I could do without. There are cormorants near where I live too and I have photographed them many times, but never as good as this.
" Synchronous Willow " by Chris Niesmertelny, USA: I feel something strange about this shot. The composition isn�t clear for me - the image isn�t mirrored in the water as one could expect, and the lighting is OK but not outstanding. But it has a nice, peaceful mood that makes one like it.
