1.2.5 GB or 1.5GB depending on model for the iBook G4. The sub-1GHz versions only officially support 640MB. You'd need a 1GB SO-DIMM to max the RAM. > >>> 13G disk free space isn't too bad if you're on an 80G drive, but >>> you're getting close to the limit for good performance and with a larger >>> drive you are already past what I consider to be reasonable free space. Hellish is a good description. Quite possibly some of the worst hardware to work on Apple ever put out. 320GB is the largest available drive and will run around $130CDN in Toronto (bought one a couple weeks ago for my HP laptop) but 250's are the easiest to find. You need a PATA or IDE drive not the newer SATA drives (which sucks as 500GB SATA laptops drives are the same price as 320GB PATA drives). -Adam -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
