No, Tate Modern is housed in what used to be Bankside Power Station - a
completely different power station several miles downstream, directly
opposite St Paul's. 

Battersea Power Station is almost opposite the original Tate Gallery, now
called Tate Modern, which is on Chelsea Embankment / Millbank. Battersea
Power Station is otherwise nothing to do with the Tate.

You get to see some of the most interesting parts of London that way.
Open-topped touring bus, with river cruise included - that's the way to do
it.
