Now that I look at the series, I see what you mean. I have to say, I was initially aghast at the wanton and senseless violence portrayed therein, however when I asked myself "What exactly is Scott trying to say here?", things began to get clearer. This is obviously a cry against cruelty to animals in all its forms. Think of it: Bunnies are both a pet and a source of food so you're obviously commenting on both of those sorts of exploitation. The cruelty of the hand is directed against the still-live bunnies, so I'm guessing you're making a statement against vivisection ~and~ animal testing of all sorts. The poking of one bunny in the eye and the last few frames where the hand seems to be lifting the dismembered rabbit bits for consumption speak to the sadistic delight that meat-consumers take in ingesting their "prey", the self-righteous way that we humans feel "entitled" to exploit nature to our needs with little regard to any effects that our actions might have on nature on both macro and micro levels. This series spoke to me in a way that few on this list have - I felt it on a visceral level. Thank you.
