Subject: PESO: Epiphany

I was drawn to the architecture, trees and general light of this scene.

But I'm not sure I'm happy with the way it came out.

Comments, suggestions?

A few thoughts...

Generally, out of focus foreground objects are distracting. You've included one in the top right corner. I think I would have moved forwards a bit to see if I could have either gotten rid of it completely, or at least gotten it situated in such a way that it could be cloned out easily. For myself, I'd like to see the building sitting lower in the frame, so I'd have pointed the camera up a bit and corrected the verticals in post. The sky is kind of a funky colour, not much you can do about that at the time of the picture taking, but it could be adjusted with curves, I suspect. It might also make a very nice B&W, although that won't fix what I'm seeing as compositional flaws.
It could also use a couple of monks....
