This is one of those 'well well well how about' that stories.

I'm filming in London on Sunday morning at the London Marathon. The news
programme I do a lot of work for have a reporter running, and need to
film her setting off, up and past, and a the finish (a logistical
nightmare in itself, very kindly being helped out by Bob W with advice
and refuge).

I have accreditation for the finish, but at the actual finish line,
because the BBC have the rights, no filming permitted of the actual
finish! So the reporter says to me "apparently no restriction on stills
- could you shoot me from the official gantry with a stills camera?"

So when did I sell my 1DmII and L lenses with 8 fps and lightning AF and
IS........

"Yes of course" I say. Guess what's coming along with me on Sunday. My
wife's *ist Ds and 18-55 to get the Money Shot.
