Okay to swap a partially filled memory card from one camera to another? For example, during a shoot, your primary camera goes south and you only have space remaining on that partially used card. Can you transfer that card to your back-up camera with impunity?
Generally yes, but keep in mind it will likely mess up the numbering sequence on the second camera (basically update it to be in sync with the first)
