A Pentax friend got this error message with two different cards. He has had it for two months. Haven't seen any odd behavior from it before.
The camera won't allow him to activate the menus, so he isn't able to try a in camera format. I've adviced him to try formating on computor. Didn't help. Unfortunately I've already lent my DS to somebody else, so he isn't to keen about sending it in.
