I'd tell them "NO" loudly. (Though I can't imagine any professional being dumb enough to ask the photographer for his raw files, unless possibly, it was a "work for hire" situation.)
Even then, I suspect there is enough arrogance in the community to put up a fuss. OTOH, this is probably where photoshopdisasters.com gets most of their source material.
