Yep, my thoughts too! It's off to Pentax for sure. Thanks JOC & WR. Cheers, Christine

Mostly likely some internal screw has worked loose
but something else could have broken loose too.

Subject: FA 50mm f1.4 interior rattle

Hi Everyone:

I noticed a rattle in my SMC FA 50mm f1.4 lens. I didn't drop it, but I

might have banged it--though I don't remember doing so. Anyway, it
rattles
most when held with both hands, like a ball, with front of lens away
from my
body. I'll have to send to Pentax, but anyone have any thoughts what it

might/could be? Kind of bummed--it's been a trusty old'lens for me and
it's
my 1st equipment problem sense getting back into photography.

Cheers, Christine
